Ages ago the master of the revels thrilled his convivial audience with the sagas - those narrations of heroic exploits and marvelous adventures of daring knights. Later jovial troubadours traversed the southern lands of Europe entertaining courtly assemblies with their lyrics and romantic tales; but with the advent or the printing press, books became the conveyance of thought. and stories bearing the individual notes to each author penetrated the homes or all lovers of chivalrous deeds. love. adventure end even life itself.
