Abstract
The interest which has sprung up in late years with regard to the philosophic tenets of the Arabian Philosophers and their influence upon the University of Paris and the entire Western World has served as the stimulus for the present investigation. This thesis consists of a translation of the work Tractatus De Erroribus Philosophorum form the Latin language make it available for probably the first time to English readers. The work Tractatus De Erroribus Philosophorum was written by an unknown author sometime towards the later part of the thirteenth century and it was the author's intention to point out the errors contained in the philosophy of the following men: Aristotle, Averroes, Avicenna, Algazel, Alkindi, and Rabbi Moses. This work of the unknown author is very critical and exacting and shows a good knowledge of the material dealt with by him. He shows by this work just what was found objectionable in the philosophy of the enumerated me.
