Abstract
Between the cardinal years of 1760 and 1824 a stiring and important panorama of important events are enfolded. This period is generally known as the era of the Critical Period of American History. The beginning of this period is signified by the birth of the idea of independence and the glorious ending with the country emerging from the dismal abyss of chaos and confusion to take its place among the sovereign nations of the world.
