Abstract
Supervision is a subject of vital importance to every superintendent of schools, since its chief function is the training of teachers. There has never been a time in the history of the schools of America, when teachers so much needed to be awake to the changing social needs and to have a workable understanding of the increasing knowledge of how children learn and of child psychology as they do today. Parent-Teacher organizations everywhere are discussing children's problems in a most scientific manner; Study groups are a part of every College Women's Club. Communities are outdoing each other in improving the educational opportunities offered our boys and girls.
