Abstract
The Church and Pope, - how could world history be written without their mention? The Church is built upon a rock, against which the gates of hell shall never prevail. To the first representative or the Church, Christ said, "Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed tor thee that thy faith fail not." With such assurance, Satan has been unable to either destroy the rock or ruin the edifice built upon it.
