Abstract
The hand of Otto Von Bismarck was the hand that fashioned the German ship of state. It was Bismarck, who, out of huddled mass of little states, created the great German Empire. With the aid of indefatigable energy, clear foresight, an almost superhuman perseverance in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, he brought his country out of obscurity and gave her a place in the universe.
