Abstract

Mathematics has a beginning but it has no end. Infinite are its vistas or knowledge that lead ever on and on to worlds interesting ·and unknown. Down one of these never-ending vistas have I but glanced and what I have seen I have herein attempted to relate. Only time has halted me intent· upon my quest for knowledge concerning the family of curves represented by the equation xn + yn= cn.
