Abstract
In attempting to improve the health habits of the child, little can be accomplished without the interest and cooperation of the home, in which the habits will be practiced. The establishment of an intimate understanding between the school and home goes far towards producing the desired results; and, again, while we may be making. progress by the mere preaching of the gospel of hygiene to the child, the child cannot reform his own ways and revolutionize family traditions without the cooperation of the parents. Important from every point ·of view has been the taking of the parents into the confidence of the school.
