Abstract
The term "civics" is now generally used to refer to the teaching of "civil government" including all those projects which tend to develop an interested, intelligent, efficient, loyal citizenship. It is much broader in scope than the term "civil government" which was formerly used and which was but a synonym for machinery of government.
