Abstract
It was the intent of this investigation to assess the extent to which certain teaching behaviors are valued and taught for by teacher educators at Dr. Martin Luther College; and, to assess the extent to which pre-service and in-service teachers of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod value and practice these same teaching behaviors. By means of interviews, inventories, and audio recordings the necessary data were collected and then analyzed for conclusions and implications relating to the improvement of the professional education curriculum of Dr. Martin Luther College.
