Abstract
In this essay an attempt is made to show from the writings of Luther and the interpretation of historians what attitudes the reformer had on political questions of the day, especially the problem of revolt, and whether this attitude was changed over a period of years in the face of changing conditions and a broader experience. What were Luther's theories on economic questions, and did he have any influence on the rising capitalism? What was Luther's educational policy and what influence did he exert in this field?
