Abstract
The supply and demand of elementary teachers today makes it imperative that we do all that is possible to encourage teachers to enter and remain in our school system. Industry as well as the school has given attention to the induction of new employees into the established organization. Schools have not kept pace with industry in applying specific techniques to induction needs. The desire on the part of school administrators to provide satisfactory induction programs for teachers has indicated the concern placed by the school on this problem of orientation.
