Abstract
If the role of the supervisor is "to be to the teacher what the teacher is to the child," then he must change teacher behavior in ways that will provide children with a better learning environment. The best teacher effects that change in pupil behavior by beginning with his problems and concerns, thereby minimizing troubles of motivation, maintaining high morale in the classroom, and turning out a well-integrated personality.
