Abstract
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the extent to which pupils' out-of-school televiewing habits can be influenced by the teacher in the following respects: the number of hours television was viewed by them, the types of programs viewed, and the range of the viewing time of these programs. The writer conducted a survey experiment with a sixth grade class.
