Abstract
Television appears to be the most powerful medium of communication known to man. Research indicates that television occupies about as much time for elementary school children as does the school itself. Many also feel that it must exert a tremendous influence on a child's development. Besides, with over 70 educational TV stations operating successfully in the United States, TV is becoming a very powerful and effective teaching tool.
