Abstract
Utopia, the elusive kingdom, has invited the speculations of many famous thinkers. Quests for the ideal "good place" are instinctive desires which reflect significant differences. Depending on the goal -- tranquility, material stability or personal happiness -- the architecture of the utopia is fashioned to satisfy the needs of the creator. His perceptions of reality define the scope of that world; his values provide the moral energy. Through the very act of writing, he crystalizes and clarifies his theories by making them tangible.
