Abstract
Change is the very life-blood of living society. Dynamism is required not only for the sake of progress but also for survival itself. The educational system in Nepal has changed from time to time with the change of time and values in the country. In the early 1970s the National Education System Plan was introduced in Nepal, and there have been modifications and changes in the Plan in tune with the demands of the time and of the country, as the government saw them.
The Nepal Jesuit Society has been involved in educational work in Nepal since 1951, and has seen the changes taking place in every aspect of life in Nepal. This essay is an attempt to see how the Nepal Jesuit Society can give a true Jesuit education to the people of Nepal within the framework of the National Education System Plan.
