Abstract
Rehabilitation programs are concerned with assisting individual patients to develop and utilize their residual abilities and talents more effectively in order that they may achieve the greatest possible degree of independence. The progress that each individual makes in gaining this maximum independence is closely observed and evaluated during the rehabilitation program.
