Abstract
In the past decade, small investors have increasingly participated in common trust funds and mutual funds as investment media. On the basis of a cursory glance, the purposes of the two funds appear to be quite similar. They both are vehicles whereby a small investor may receive diversification by type of security, as well as by inter - and intraindustry considerations. If they are reasonably similar, which has attained its objective more successfully?
