Abstract

This paper presents a numerical differentiation scheme that calculates the first harmonic potentials i n a one dimensional transistor model. The basic concepts are an extension of H. K. Gumrnels' work on a steady-state analysis. Unlike his approach, however, the boundary value problem is converted to an initial value one. and solved by a Hamming predictor-corrector technique. The input data are frequency, applied a-c potentials, and pre-calculated steady-state peotentials.
