Abstract
In the years since World War II the full or part-time employment of students in grades nine through twelve has been steadily increasing. This has caused many educators to question the effects of ·such employment on the behavior and attitudes of the child in school. To determine the beneficial or detrimental aspects of this situation, it appears that additional research is needed in the area of student employment.
