Abstract

From the time a child is enrolled in kindergarten, if not before, his parents become concerned with how well he will do academically. This parental concern follows the child throughout his entire scholastic career. As engaged with the child's success as the parent is, the child is even more involved because it is his success, his life, his education. Except for those relatively few who are maladjusted, no one of us likes to fail. The realization of success fulfills one of man's basic needs.
