Abstract

The Church has been concerned with teaching from her founding by Jesus Christ Himself. Throughout the epochs of wars, famine, science, or philosophy, she has spoken to her children as the Teacher her Spouse did. This position is often made clearest through the various encyclicals through the centuries.
