Abstract
For Americans living during the years 1776 to 1800 the significance of their Revolution was immeasurable. As citizens of a new nation, they were certain that the American Revolution was one of the grandest events ever recorded in history. The glories of this most just War were almost beyond comprehension, and surely the winning of the War marked not only the birth of a new nation, but more importantly an era of new freedom and the ultimate triumph of liberty throughout the world.
