Abstract

Interest and activity in written school board policy has become evident in the past few years. Books and professional journals have devoted many pages to the problems involved, recommendations of policy, and legal facts regarding board policy. One of the planks of the National School Board Convention in the spring of 1955 recommended written school board policy.
