During the last decade, a new applied technology has been taking hold over American business. It is still perhaps too early to evaluate the performance of the said new application. This technique has the glamorous name 'data processing system' with the aid of electronic computers. It seems to possess a vast potential and may have far-reaching impact on managerial decision-making processes.
