Abstract

According to a report of the President 1s Committee on Education Beyond High School, four million students will be enrolled in 1965 in colleges and universities, and by 1970 enrollments may rise to eight million.1 These statistics present a challenge not only to college educators, high school teachers, parents of youth, but primarily to the high school students themselves who must decide their higher education before they fully realize their own potentialities. This paper will present an appraisal of a program for counseling college bound students at Magnificat High School, Cleveland, Ohio.
