Abstract

This study seeks to determine what value parents of children in the Catholic elementary schools of Milwaukee County place on the parent-teacher conference and what criterion they use in determining the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the conference. The findings of this study should indicate what parents. consider beneficial or detrimental to a worthwhile parent-teacher conference. Recommendations and guidelines for the improvement of the conference can be formulated on the basis of this evaluation.
