Abstract

Although our constitution guarantees freedom to all, regardless of race, color or creed, public prejudice and pressures do not insure that all members of our society have equal status. Minority or other ethnic groups often are rated as second-class citisens. Today it is primarily the Puerto Ricans, Negroes, Indians and Orientals who fall into this category.
