Abstract

The problem in this study is to make a critical analysis of an experiment in individualized reading as developed by an educational consultant and a teaching staff. It is the purpose of this report to present and to analyze the various phases of the experiment, including (1) planning, (2) classroom procedures, and (3) evaluation. The reading program as planned and constantly assessed by an educational consultant and a total school teaching staff consisting of six persons. The plan was executed and carried through by three teachers in grades three through six.
