Abstract
Minor seminaries are being asked to review their guidance programs and procedures by regional accrediting agencies. The function of spiritual direction has an earlier history and formal definition in the minor seminary. An expanding and more diversified guidance system to fulfill more specific needs is the desired objective of both seminaries and accrediting agencies.
