Abstract
This study was made to compare the results in spelling achievement of two different groups. The investigator was interested in noting whether there was significant difference in achievement at the end of the six-month experiment between groups using the one speller (control group), and the groups using various grade level spellers (experimental group). Was there a significant difference in the experimental and control group achievement in the work of pupils with an I.Q. of 115 and over? Was there a significant difference in achievement between the experimental and control group with pupils who had an I.Q. between 90-99?
