Abstract
At A-E Burdick School (a city of Milwaukee K-8 school), is found a work experience program called Jeans Power. Its initial intent was to provide work experience for the seventh and eighth graders as well as assisting teachers and other school personnel. However, in the past four years some question has arisen concerning its mutual benefit and acceptance. To determine the students' and teachers' receptiveness to the program, there are a variety of questions that arise: Is a junior high in-school work experience pilot program accepting to the students and teachers as a mutually beneficial program? Have the students benefitted in their path to career education? Has the program provided for some important work values? Have teachers provided needed jobs and worked with students to encourage and develop their talents in a positive employer - employee relationship? Have the teachers been helped by the students' services?
