Abstract

It was the purpose of this study to describe the habit patterns of the pre-school children who were admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The study limited itself to the children under four years of age who came into the pediatric department in the sixteen month period beginning January 1, 1954 and ending May 1, 1955. These are the sick children of Milwaukee County. They come from all levels of society and offer a cross-sectional view of normal children of this area.
