Abstract

The direction of this research paper has been the evolution of the teaching of science. Tenuous threads had to be plucked from readings which limited the scope. Progress in scientific development, let alone its communication through teaching, has not been uniform, which complicated the task. From the writings of noted authorities in the history of science, it appeared that Nature worked in scientific ways, with man at a loss for an approach to understand, being without a language for its interpretation. Prior to the Greeks, intelligent man used speculation without recorded method to translate Nature's events.
