Abstract
The Humanistic movement influenced the educational systems in the late sixties and early seventies. Many school systems were examining their effectiveness: What are the needs of the students in this changing society? Secondly, how can the system best meet the needs of the students? One such school that became involved in the movement to improve the education of students was Pius XI High School.
