Abstract
One of the most important movements in guidance today is the expanding of organized, planned, and professionally directed guidance programs in the elementary school . Educators are keenly aware of the fact that the early years of a child's life are as important as any other, not only in living but also in terms of a future career. Add to this the complexity of modern society and the pressures placed upon the child and the urgency of the demand for guidance on the elementary level is obvious .
