Abstract

The science of physics has been a leading factor in today's phenomenal technological progress and, as a result, the nation faces two major problems. There is, first, the need to keep pace with modern developments by providing an adequate number of trained workers and specialists in the field; and, secondly, there is greater need to stimulate interest in physics among potential scientists on the high-school level. Since a solution of the second problem resolves the first, full attention should be given to it.
