Abstract

In the writings of many historians who specialize in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, the elements that typified the Middle Ages began to slowly fall apart. To understand what occurred in these times might reveal various aspects of the numerous problems that happened then and could help us understand the economic problems of today. It would seem that an intensive study of one manor in the medieval world reveals part of the problems medieval man endured, especially those who were the most involved in the Middle Ages economic system of manorialism. This paper attempts to state the problems that occurred on a manor by looking at the production function of one manor.
