Abstract

This study was concerned with merely one phase of the elementary physical education program as an indication of the successfulness of instruction being given to the boys and girls in the upper elementary grades . The area under investigation was this: What is the level of the motor performance of the children in the upper elementary grades? Do a poor performance and low score in any of the motor ability tests administered indicate inferior instruction and poor teaching methods?
