Abstract

Between the years 1933 and 1945 European Jewry underwent an unparalleled catastrophe. In those years between four and six million Jews were murdered in Europe by the Nazis. This paper is an attempt to trace in broad outline the fate of the Jews under the heel of the Nazi regime. Most of the facts have been garnered from the documents published in connection with the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials.
