Abstract
The population of the world is becoming more and more multi-cultural as each year passes. In order to face the challenges which will be present in a multicultural educational environment, school counselors must be willing to use innovative approaches in trying to conduct successful counseling sessions. This research project will address the need for multi-cultural counseling in schools, how it is currently being done, proposed strategies for improving counseling strategies, an explanation of why those methods would be effective, and an analysis of prototypical examples of the proposed strategies.
