Abstract
The basic purpose of this essay is to present an introduction to the theology of revelation implicit in the writings of Cardinal Newman. It is clear that Newman's writings suggest such a theology, therefore this is an attempt to single out its constituent elements and present them in as understandable a fashion as possible. The method utilized throughout is analytic, though in a few instances secondary sources have been consulted and are referred to in the text.
