Abstract
Many different current wave forms have been used to study electroanesthesia. Sinusoidal, rectangular, rectangular with high frequency interburst and sinusoidal interference currents are four of the wave forms used for anesthesia suitable for surgical intervention. This paper presents an experimental procedure which is being used to investigate these wave forms as anesthetic agents with the use of four drugs as preanesthetic agents; droperidol, mydocalm, phenobarbital and sodium pentothal.
