Creator's notes: I have recreated the piece Untitled (Wolf, Alligator, and Fish) using various Pokémon from the games. I have also included smaller other pieces from the games such as the flowers, water texture, and some elements from team magma and aqua.

Comments

Pokémon has been a huge part of my life and has filled my days with so much joy and entertainment. It is bizarre to me which is often a quality I look for when deciding whether to consume a piece of media or not. The art piece Untitled (Wolf, Alligator, and Fish) brings in the same enjoyment of the bizarre as Pokémon does. The themes of this piece also intrigues me, and to keep with that i made sure to be specific in my choices of subjects. The hunter and prey being placed together is reflected in the Pokémon's types i chose. The wolf, Lycanrock, a normal and rock type, along with the alligator Krookodile, a dark type are both weak to the octopuses (in place for the fish), Clobbopus's fighting type. The theme of new texts is also reflected in the choice of subjects, like with Lycanrock and Krookodile, both beloved Pokémon from older games, with Clobbopus, a Pokémon mostly ignored from a not as liked game.
