Creator's notes: I like to doodle embroidery onto vintage postcards and photographs. In this piece, I've added a Stardew Valley cow to a postcard for Ohio's Amish Country, copyrighted 1992 Doyle Yoder.

In Untitled (Wolf, Alligator and Fish), 1997, Tim Ebner arranged an unexpected collection of subjects together to evoke a response. This is similar to collage or multimedia work in that the artist can play with new combinations of objects, concepts, or media; contrasting or combining the real and surreal.

I have joked (not joked) that I sometimes care more about my Stardew Valley life than my "real life." By adding a game sprite to an image of a real farm, and by contrasting the textures of the flat postcard and the fuzzy cow, I hope to blur the lines between game life and real life.
