Creator's notes: I took special interest in the character Ace Harlem after reading about his history in a short-lived 1947 comic featuring different stories by Black creators. The character took a life of his own within my creativity and saw him as someone that, while appearing to be cool and righteous hero, Ace can have his limits. This is my way of showing that idea where even as the rage can overtake him, there's a light on the other side to keep him crossing lines of both the law and morality.

Comments
The piece of "Dual Personality" inspired it by the imagery alone, but then reading the description also tied into another idea. There can be one side that Ace may show to the public while on duty, and another can exist that he has his reasons to keep to those he trusts, if not to himself.
