Creator's notes: The inner struggle of Darth Vader expressed through toy photography. Digitally combining a photo of Anakin Skywalker with the twin suns of Tatooine setting behind him with a shot of Darth Vader with the two Death Stars behind him, essentially clashing lightsabers against himself, to express the inner turmoil of the ultimately redeemed iconic villain character.

Because Star Wars has always been my biggest source of inspiration in my toy animation and photography, the duality of Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker immediately jumped to my mind when I first looked at "Dual Personality". The piece, to me, seems to convey a dark soul within, at odds with the person on the exterior. This reminded me of the darkness within Anakin that takes over his persona, giving rise to Darth Vader, one of the most tragic stories in all of cinema. And yet, the light within Vader is never quite extinguished, and tragedy transforms into the ultimate redemption arc.
