But is it Smut?? A Book Cover Series, 2024
Fandom: Romantsy novels
Paper collage

Rating: Mature
Tags: After being introduced to the literary genre of romantasy (romance and fantasy), I quickly feel in love with the different tropes and world building elements of this type of novel. A newer genre of adult fantasy is now used for this type of novel to indicate to the reader that the book does contain more adult themes. While reading these types of books, I've explored so many amazing characters - the heroine, the shadow daddy, the enemy that is really the lover - while living in a fully developed fantasy or magical world. But what's made this reading journey more interesting is discovering and learning more about my sexuality because of the smut content in romantasy novels. Through collage, this series creates a fictional romantasy novel that the reader only wants to know, is there smut? If yes, then it's an immediate add to the to be read pile.

In society we don't talk about sex, and especially openly if you identify as a woman. This piece responds to the Play work because why shouldn't women talk about it? Why shouldn't we explore sexual content, especially in a genres of novels they already enjoy. My series explores openly looking for and discussing this type of media with friends and society.
