Abstract
Many companies look upon the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act as a costly government program that consumes huge amounts of resource and offers little benefit in return. But from a supply chain standpoint, this point of view may be a bit shortsighted. Complying with SOX requires companies to reassess their supply chain controls and relationships in a way that can ultimately lead to a stronger business.
